    Nutrition Outreach and Education Program (NOEP)

    • The main focus of the program is to provide outreach to the lower income community and food insecure families and individuals and connect them to food and nutrition resources in their area within the county (food pantries, meal programs, etc.).
    • The program also provides at home assistance for those who want to apply, re-apply, or recertify for SNAP benefits (formerly known as food stamps).

    • This program stresses nutrition education and gives a family a voucher to purchase formula and nutritious food.

    • Depending on your family's income, your child may be eligible to join either Children's Medicaid or Child Health Plus.
